Our work has earned recognition both locally and internationally - Donkerbos (2023) was the only African series selected for Berlinale Series Market Selects, while our sweeping family epic Nêrens, Noord-Kaap has been hailed as one of the country’s most distinctive prestige dramas. In 2023, Nagvlug Films was South Africa’s second most nominated production company at the SAFTAs, with 21 nominations across our slate.
